Position Overview

K2 Mart Truck Stop & Convenience Store is looking for a reliable, friendly, and customer-focused Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while handling cash, operating the POS system, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and provide friendly, skilled service.
Process cash, debit, credit, and other payments accurately.
Operate the POS/cash register and complete transactions efficiently.
Handle cash responsibly and maintain accurate cash balances.
Assist customers with questions regarding products, prices, and store services.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area and store.
Restock shelves, coolers, and other merchandise as required.
Check product displays and ensure items are properly priced and organized.
Monitor store areas and report any safety, security, or maintenance concerns to management.
Follow company procedures for cash handling, refunds, exchanges, and age-restricted sales.




Assist with cleaning and other general store duties as required.
Work effectively as part of a team and support coworkers during busy periods.
Follow all company policies, health and safety requirements, and operational procedures.

Qualifications & Skills
Previous cashier or customer service experience is an asset.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Basic computer/POS system knowledge.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash.
Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Ability to perform basic physical duties such as standing for extended periods, stocking, and lifting merchandise.

Pay: From $17.65 per hour
