MacNutt Enterprises is looking for a full time Heavy Duty Mechanic, apprentice or journeyman, experienced with fleet trucks, trailers & equipment, such as wheel loaders, excavators, crushers, screening plants and hog grinders (and more).

Mostly on site in Nanaimo, but some travel in company vehicle to Lake Cowichan & Victoria for equipment repairs, maintenance, and road calls.

Duties:
Perform diagnostic inspections and troubleshooting on heavy-duty trucks and trailers and heavy-duty equipment.
Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on engines, brakes, electrical systems, and other mechanical components.
Assist with parts ordering and inventory management as needed
Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation

Required:




Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment
Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
Possess a valid driver's license.
Solid attention to detail.

Assets
Air brakes certificate /Upgraded license
Experience with driving and repairing heavy duty machines
Other repair work, such as welding.

Pay: $25.00-$50.00 per hour
