The Opportunity:
As a Purchaser you will join the Manufacturing Division where your mandate will be to offer exceptional quoting, purchasing and administrative support and services.

Job Type:
Full Time - 40 Hours per week

Rate:
Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience

Shift:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Main Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
Receive requisitions to obtain price and deliveries from vendors and place orders for the division
Set up new vendors and fill out credit applications




Match customer purchase orders with work orders and sales invoices
Issue and organize purchase orders for the division and notify shipping
Arrange trucking and set up customs paperwork when necessary
Expedite materials and supplies for the division (order, back order/returns)
Approve vendor invoices for the division, receive and forward to accounting
Perform general administrative duties such as typing and filing
Processing invoices and other purchasing and administrative duties as required

Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED
5 years’ experience in Purchasing
Experience working in a manufacturing setting would be an asset

Required Skills:
Exceptional Communications (i.e. writing and speaking) skills
Experience working with ERP systems
