Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble sushi using traditional techniques, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
Handle fresh seafood, rice, vegetables, and other ingredients with proper food safety and hygiene practices
Cook rice to the perfect texture and flavor, adhering to authentic recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station, following all food handling protocols
Assist in meal preparation for various sushi dishes, including rolls, sashimi, nigiri, and specialty items
Serve guests with friendly and efficient food service,



providing knowledge about menu items when needed
Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures to ensure a safe dining setting for everyone

Experience
Previous food service experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is highly preferred
Hands-on experience with sushi making or Japanese cuisine is a strong plus
Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
Familiarity with serving guests in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
Experience in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations within a restaurant or similar setting

Pay: $18.25-$24.00 per hour
