Job Summary

We are seeking energetic and dependable Farm Labourers and Drivers to join our team for the upcoming Fall Harvest activities. This role offers an exciting prospect to be directly involved in the vital process of harvesting potato & wheat crops, maintaining farm equipment, and storage systems. The successful candidates will play a key part in ensuring a smooth, effective harvest season by assisting with crop collection, and performing related maintenance tasks. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to work outdoors in a agile agricultural workplace while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Duties
Drive trucks or utility vehicles to transport harvested crops within the farm premises or to designated locations.
Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment and machinery, including basic repairs and inspections using hand tools and power tools.
Assist with potato & wheat crop harvesting, including sorting, and packing produce as needed.
Conduct general farm upkeep tasks such as fence repairs, equipment cleaning, and organizing tools and supplies.
Assist with heavy lifting of supplies or harvested crops while following safety protocols to prevent injury.

Experience




Previous experience operating farm machinery or heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
Basic mechanical knowledge or familiarity with maintenance of farm tools and equipment is advantageous.
Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Strong attention to safety procedures when handling power tools, hand tools, and working around machinery.
Basic math skills for measuring materials or calculating quantities needed during harvest activities.

Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour
