Responsibilities
Operate and monitor robotic welding systems for steel fabrication.
Load, position, and secure steel components
Set up welding machines, fixtures, wire, gas, and welding parameters according to production requirements.
Verify robot programs and make basic parameter adjustments when required.
Perform basic troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
Replace welding wire, contact tips, nozzles, and other consumable components.
Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and work areas.
Use measuring tools and welding inspection equipment as required.
Follow production schedules and maintain required production rates.
Complete production and quality documentation.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures.
Work closely with welders, machine operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors.
Report equipment problems,



quality issues, or safety concerns promptly.

Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience operating robotic welding equipment is preferred.
Experience with steel welding and fabrication.
Ability to read and understand welding drawings and shop drawings.
Knowledge of MIG welding processes is an asset.
Basic understanding of welding parameters such as voltage, amperage, wire speed, and gas flow.
Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to safely lift and handle steel components.
Previous experience with robotic welding programming or teach pendants is an asset.

Pay: $29.00-$30.00 per hour
