Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Baker. This role is essential in creating beautiful and delicious sourdough bread and pastries that delight our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and sourdough baking, along with the ability to work with a team. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all breads are prepared, and packaged to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
Prepare various baked goods, including sourdough breads, pastries, and desserts, adhering to recipes and food safety standards.
Assist in food preparation tasks, including mixing ingredients and operating kitchen equipment safely.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, following food handling and safety protocols.
Package finished products for display or delivery while ensuring quality presentation.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during busy periods.

Qualifications




Experience in sourdough bread shaping and baking
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, particularly in the food industry.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
The ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Solid attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 45 per week
