Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy equipment and a strong mechanical knowledge base. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment on-site, contributing to the successful completion of civil construction projects.
Duties
Operate heavy equipment including bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders for various construction tasks.
Perform digging and building operations as required by project specifications.
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Safely maneuver equipment in tight spaces and around obstacles while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and any maintenance performed.
Assist in training new operators on equipment handling and safety procedures.
Requirements
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, bulldozers, backhoes, and loaders.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment.
Ability to dig, build, and perform various tasks related to construction projects.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
Physical stamina to operate machinery for extended periods and perform manual labor as needed.
Valid driver's license may be required based on job site location.
