Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable Hairstylist to join our vibrant salon team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hair styling, excellent customer service skills, and a keen eye for beauty trends. The Hairstylist will be responsible for providing high-quality hair services, maintaining sanitation standards, and contributing to the overall client experience.

Duties
Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, blowouts, and treatments tailored to client preferences
Provide exceptional customer service by listening carefully to clients’ needs and offering professional recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with health regulations
Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue
Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and processing payments
Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve skills through ongoing education and training




Create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat business and positive client relationships

Requirements
Proven experience as a hairstylist with a robust portfolio of work
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon setting
Ability to upsell products and services in a professional manner
Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport quickly
Retail sales experience is a plus
Previous front desk or administrative experience is desirable but not required
Certification or licensing as required by state regulations for hairstylists
