OVITA Construction is looking to hire experienced concrete forming carpenters.

Job Description:
Construction, erection, and install of wood formwork systems for stairs, columns, walls, suspended slabs, stripping and removal of concrete formwork after concrete pours.
Erect and build scaffolding for access and concrete formwork decks
Install anchor bolts and embedded steel for concrete
Complete task hazard assessments and maintain a safe work setting

Qualifications and Skills:
Have multiple years of experience in concrete formwork as a carpenter.
Have previous work experience in rough carpentry, forming and framing (if applicable)
Able to work alone, or as part of a team




Display valuable verbal and written communication skills when working with other employees
Knowledge in trade-related math and basic survey and layout
Hardworking and able to readily accept and apply direction from project manager.
General labour duties and cleanup as required

Job Type: Full time

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
Concrete Forming & Finishing Occupations: 5 years (preferred)
