Job Summary

Duties
Operate packaging equipment and assist with product assembly to meet production targets efficiently
Use forklifts safely to move raw materials, finished goods, and supplies around the facility
Follow strict sanitation procedures to keep work areas clean and comply with food safety regulations
Monitor machinery for proper functioning, perform basic mechanical troubleshooting, and report issues promptly
Assist in food processing tasks by preparing ingredients, loading machines, and ensuring proper handling of products




Conduct quality checks using basic math skills to verify weights, counts, and measurements during production
Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, sanitation routines, and safety checks

Skills
Experience with packaging operations in a manufacturing or food industry setting preferred
Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus
Solid understanding of food safety standards and sanitation practices
Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues effectively
Basic math skills for measurements, counts, and quality verification tasks
Knowledge of food processing procedures and quality control measures
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols consistently
