Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and skilled Community Support Workers to join a dedicated 2:1 support team in Hagersville, Haldimand County. This role supports a 13 yr old male with ADHD, intellectual delay, and complex behavioural needs in the home and community.

You will play a key role in creating a secure, structured, consistent and supportive environment that promotes emotional well-being, independence, and positive daily routines. This position is ideal for professionals who are calm, consistent, and passionate about person-centred care.

Hours:
School days: 3:00pm-8:00pm
Non-school days (PA days, holidays): 8:00am-8:00pm or 9:00am-9:00pm

What You’ll Do
Provide consistent individualized support in a respectful, person-centred manner
Implement an individualized Behaviour Support Plan
Support emotional regulation, communication, and daily living skills
Accurately collect and document behavioural data
Use positive behaviour support strategies to reduce challenging behaviours
Maintain a calm, safe, consistent and predictable environment
Engage in meaningful daily activities that build independence and confidence
Work collaboratively with the family and clinical team
Personal care when required





Required Skills:
Experience working with high needs young males
Experience supporting individuals with complex behavioural, mental health needs
Knowledge of positive behaviour support (ABA experience an asset)
Strong documentation and communication skills
Experience working with families
Reliable, professional, and committed to team-based care
CPI certification required
First Aid & CPR required
Vulnerable Police Check required
Valid drivers licence and reliable vehicle required
