Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will support the dentist during clinical procedures, ensure patient comfort, and maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment.

This role is essential to delivering high-quality dental care and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a wide variety of dental procedures (e.g., fillings, crowns, extractions, Ortho, Implant).
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental x-rays (as licensed/required).
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting.
Manage room setup and cleanup between patients.




Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans as directed.
Inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Follow all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
Valid certification or license as required by provincial regulations.
HARP certification (if in Ontario, for taking x-rays).
CPR certification.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Previous experience is preferred.

Job Types: Part time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
