NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde seeks a Consultant Cardiologist at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This permanent role includes inpatient duties and outpatient clinics within a cooperative workplace.

The successful candidate will fill a Consultant Cardiologist position following a recent resignation. Applicants should ideally have a focus on electrophysiology and possess the necessary qualifications including MRCP and GMC registration. Your contributions will be vital to the cardiology service provision and inpatient care at QEUH.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the in-patient cardiology rota and weekend cover
Conduct outpatient clinics at the Current Victoria Hospital
Undertake pacemaker implants and participate in EP consults




Support the vetting of GP referrals and patient consultations
Schedule administrative tasks in accordance with designated PAs

Requirements:
Must hold full GMC registration and MRCP
CCT in Cardiology or CESR eligibility preferred
Dual accreditation in GIM is highly advantageous
Non-UK applicants must demonstrate equivalent experience
Willingness to fulfil on-call responsibilities of 1 in 11
