To provide instruction and to facilitate interactive practical experiences for students in the Early Childhood Education diploma program.
Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using appropriate instructional methodologies in support of a blended learning experience.
Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students on the required learning platform (Brightspace).
Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
Manage the classroom to ensure an optimum learning environment.
Maintain and update curriculum materials.
Work co-operatively in an interdependent team setting.
Engage in career development prospects to remain current with employer and educational requirements.
Develop working relationships with appropriate external partners and employers and, as required, arrange and supervise students in practical work placements.
Follow policies and procedures adopted by Saskatchewan Polytechnic.
Attend program and school meetings.
