Embark on a 12-month Piping Engineering internship with Canadian Natural in Calgary. Collaborate with industry leaders and tackle engineering challenges focused on compliance and performance.

This internship is designed for students in their second or third year of a Mechanical Engineering program. You will engage in piping stress analysis, assist in developing work packages, and contribute to asset integrity assessments. This role encourages practical application of your academic knowledge, working on significant projects in a safety-sensitive setting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct piping stress analysis and compliance assessments
• Develop documentation including layouts and isometrics
• Participate in risk assessments and design reviews




• Provide technical support during construction phases
• Conduct field inspections for piping integrity evaluations

Requirements:
• Enrolled in a Mechanical Engineering degree program
• Interest in piping engineering and industrial design
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Prior field or engineering experience is advantageous
• Clean Class 5 Alberta driver’s license necessary
