This key role focuses on the estimation and planning of large wind energy initiatives from the Calgary office.The Estimator will develop detailed cost projections for 100 MW+ wind projects while collaborating closely with project managers and engineering teams. This position also supports solar project estimations and vendor management, ensuring optimal performance and budget adherence.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare crew-based estimates integrating historical data
Create execution plans alongside construction staff
Conduct detailed bid reviews and risk analyses
Serve as a liaison for clients regarding project estimates
Assist in vendor scope and pricing for wind projectsRequirements:
5+ years of experience in Renewable Energy Estimation
Proven expertise in 100 MW+ wind project estimation
Proficiency with tools like Primavera P6 and Hard Dollar
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
