As a Peer Support Specialist, you will use your lived experience to create supportive connections with individuals facing challenges related to substance use and mental health. This position plays a crucial role in the Withdrawal Management and Treatment Services program, allowing you to encourage clients while facilitating peer-led groups and collaborating with staff. Your insights will contribute significantly to the overall recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:
• Establish supportive relationships based on shared lived experiences




• Provide encouragement to clients during recovery
• Facilitate peer-led groups and discussions
• Identify personal goals with clients for their recovery
• Work collaboratively with staff while maintaining skilled boundaries

Requirements:
• Personal recovery experience from substance use or mental health issues
• Ability to model positive recovery behaviors
• Solid communication and group facilitation skills
• College diploma or certificate preferred
• Valid G level driver's license
