Experienced Kitchen Staff (Back of House) – Columbus Café Erin Mills TC

Location: Erin Mills Town Centre

Columbus Café is looking for a mature, dependable Kitchen Staff member to join our back-of-house team. We value experience, but personality, reliability, and a solid work ethic matter just as much. Candidates with the right mindset and full availability will be considered for training, even without a formal food service background.

Availability Required: Must be available any day of the week, between 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:
Execute daily food prep and assembly to brand standards
Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
Follow and uphold food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness protocols
Manage prep tasks efficiently during high-volume service periods
Support overall kitchen operations including restocking and organization

What We're Looking For:
A mature,



professional attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of tasks with minimal supervision
Comfortable working under pressure in a rapid-paced environment
Able to follow recipes and prep systems with consistency
Full commitment to the required availability (including weekends and evenings)
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or back-of-house role is a solid asset, but candidates without direct experience who demonstrate the right personality and commitment will be considered for training

Additional Notes:
Experienced candidates can expect to step in with minimal ramp-up time
Candidates without direct kitchen experience should bring a solid work ethic and genuine interest in the role, we're willing to invest in the right person
Food Handler Certification is an asset (preferred but not required)
