Join an impactful role as an Occupational Therapist focused on improving health outcomes in Northern Canada. Independently assess, diagnose, and provide vital rehabilitative services to a diverse clientele across multiple settings.You will operate primarily from a regional hospital, working with diverse patients—from pediatrics to geriatrics—delivering OT services in hospitals, schools, and community homes. Emphasizing cultural sensitivity, your expertise will shape effective therapy programs while traveling to reach patients throughout remote areas.Key Responsibilities:
Independently assess and deliver rehabilitative OT services
Design programs reflecting cultural and regional sensitivities
Educate clients and families on self-management strategies
Engage in travel to outlying communities as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare providers for optimal careRequirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy required
Two years of experience in an OT workplace
Eligibility for membership with national therapy boards
Active licensing as a qualified in Canada
