This role requires an individual with an MSc or PhD in physics or engineering physics to join our agile Plasma Diagnostics Team. As a diagnostician, you will manage sophisticated diagnostic systems, working closely with external experts and internal teams to produce high-quality experimental data. You will significantly contribute to understanding plasma behaviors critical for fusion technology advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee UV-visible ion Doppler spectroscopy diagnostic systems • Support diagnostic systems and analyze spectroscopy data • Drive innovations through design and testing of diagnostics • Develop data analysis code for experimental data • Maintain effective communication and documentation
Requirements: • MSc or PhD in relevant scientific field • Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience • Experience with optical and UV-compatible systems • Robust programming skills, especially in Python • Knowledge of plasma diagnostic techniques
