What You’ll Need

Must be a Red Seal Journeyperson

Ability to interpret all types of drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals

Experience inspecting, repairing, installing, connecting, servicing, and calibrating electrical equipment and circuits in underground and surface operations

Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic circuits, system controls, and protection devices

Basic welding skills for installing electrical equipment

Ability to inspect, repair, and test mine hoist and auxiliary equipment
