Duties Review specifications and drawings of open tenders
Collect all pertinent data and information for each job to be quoted
Conduct materials and pricing research
Assist in negotiations with Engineering Consultants
Liaise with general contractor, sub-contractors, and suppliers
Identify current market opportunities
Requirements Attentive to detail with solid analytical, math and computer skills
Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
Must be extremely proficient in Word and Outlook
Ability to plan, organize, and complete work independently and as part of a team
Highly organized and achievement oriented with strong multi-tasking abilities
Must be fluent in English




Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
Assets Estimating /Project Management experience with Landscape Construction and Maintenance
Relevant University Degree or College Diploma (i.e. Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Certified Landscape Technician, Landscape Horticulture Diploma, Landscape Architectural Diploma), Project Management Certificate, Construction Estimating Certificate
Previous experience in project management and coordination
Estimating in a general contracting environment
Office experience
Compensation To be discussed based on qualifications
