In your role as a Driver Examiner, you will evaluate both new hires and seasoned drivers while delivering comprehensive road tests. The position offers in-house training through Alberta Transportation to help you attain necessary certifications. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed, especially during peak seasons.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct evaluations and road tests for Class 2S licenses
• Work with recent drivers during ride alongs
• Ensure compliance with driver safety standards
Requirements:
• Class 2S license preferred; training provided
• Current Driver Examiner license or willingness to obtain
• Competence in computer and tablet usage
• Clear driver's abstract and criminal record
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
