Become a vital part of the Barrie Area Native Advisory Circle as the Early Childhood Indigenous Coordinator. Spearhead early childhood development initiatives that embrace Indigenous culture and learning.

This role focuses on early childhood education, coordinating programs that strengthen children's skills and prepare them for school. You will develop culturally relevant learning activities, foster community partnerships, and create inclusive environments for all children. Work within an Indigenous governance framework to ensure responsive and accountable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create culturally relevant, play-based learning experiences
• Support children's academic and social skill development
• Maintain documentation and oversee developmental progress




• Plan and execute community cultural celebrations
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in classrooms

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education or comparable field
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in early learning
• Well-versed in Indigenous cultures and languages
• Robust oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
