Become an integral part of West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. as a Miner 2 specializing in Jackleg and Stopper Bolting. This role offers a competitive hourly rate with a production bonus, supporting underground operations. As a Miner 2, you'll report to the Underground Mine Supervisor and work a 14 & 14 rotation. With a focus on protected operations, you will utilize jackleg drills and stopper drills while managing materials efficiently. Your role directly contributes to safety compliance and operational targets within the underground mining setting. Key Responsibilities:
Operate jackleg and stopper drills safely
Install ground support systems as per mine plans
Conduct inspections and identify hazards
Scale loose rock prior to commencing work
Read mine plans and supervisor instructions Requirements:
Minimum 3 years in underground hard rock mining
Experience in jackleg and stopper bolting roles
Knowledge of mining methods and safety practices
Solid communication and teamwork skills
