Tim Hortons in Comox, BC is hiring a full time Baker at their Anderton Road bake shop and café location.

Work Setting: Bake shop and café

Tasks:
Bake mixed dough and batters
Prepare breads, rolls, donuts, muffins, desserts, and pastries
Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
Prepare special orders
Supervise 1 to 2 baking and kitchen staff members
Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Operate commercial baking machinery
Organize and maintain inventory
Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
Ensure product quality meets established standards

Food Specialties: Breads and rolls, Desserts and pastries, Donuts and muffins

Work Conditions: Fast-paced workplace, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, tight deadlines, work under pressure,



attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination, ability to distinguish between colours

Experience Required: 1 year to less than 2 years

Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required

Schedule: Morning, evening, day, night, weekend, and shift work available

1 year to less than 2 years of baking or food service experience. No formal educational credential required. Must be able to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a quick-paced environment.
