Join Action for Healthy Communities Society of Alberta as a Strategic Fundraising Expert and lead transformative fundraising campaigns. This role combines project management with stakeholder engagement to drive meaningful impact.

As a Fund Development Specialist, you will collaborate closely with AHC’s Executive Director and program leaders to implement a robust fundraising framework. The role requires skill in developing partnerships, creating donor strategies, and managing fundraising events. Leveraging your experience, you will facilitate community growth and inclusivity while meeting operational goals through effective fundraising practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate and evaluate diverse funding campaigns
• Create donor management and recognition systems




• Identify and track new funding opportunities
• Foster relationships with donors and stakeholders
• Assist program teams in grant submission and proposals

Requirements:
• Proven experience in fundraising and grant frameworks
• Solid capacity for project management under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with donor databases and reporting
• Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) designation is an asset
