Join Fraser Valley Child Development Centre as a Behaviour Consultant and support children and youth with developmental needs. This part time position involves providing tailored behavioural support and working collaboratively with families and community partners.
Under the guidance of the Department Leader for Family Services, you will conduct assessments and develop strategic intervention plans for children. This role emphasizes a family-centered approach and collaboration with an integrated Early Intervention team to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct behavioural assessments for identified children
• Develop, implement, and update individual Intervention Plans
• Train and demonstrate behaviour interventions for parents
• Support Therapy Assistants in intervention delivery
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives for the team
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in relevant field with ABA training
• Three years’ experience in assessment and planning interventions
• Current Class 5 driver’s license and reliable transportation
