Become a Physiotherapist I at the University of Alberta Hospital, specializing in outpatient services within Rheumatology. Provide therapeutic interventions to help patients achieve optimal physical function and independence.
In this part-time role, you will support adult patients by delivering therapeutic interventions and collaborating with clients and families. Your responsibilities will include assessment, planning, treatment management, and fostering active participation from clients in their health care journey. You will also engage in interprofessional teamwork and contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the outpatient team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment interventions
• Collaborate with clients and families for effective care
• Participate in the rehabilitation team to enhance service delivery
• Supervise students and support therapy assistants
• Contribute to quality improvement and peer mentoring
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• BLS-HCP certification
• Robust judgment and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity
