This full time, temporary role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and administrators. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will support students with identified needs, promoting skill-building and providing crisis intervention. Engaging with families is essential to ensure ongoing communication and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver targeted mental health interventions in individual or small group settings
• Support students in emotional identification and self-regulatory strategies
• Help mitigate acute crises through safety-focused de-escalation




• Develop therapy and safety plans in collaboration with school staff
• Connect families with community mental health resources when needed

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Social Work, or similar field
• Good standing with provincial regulatory college
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Training in trauma-informed approaches preferred
