Become an essential part of the health care community at Wainwright Health Centre as an Occupational Therapist I. Focus on evidence-informed services that enhance occupational performance across diverse client needs.

In this full time role, you will provide comprehensive services, which include assessment, treatment, and case management. You'll work collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring active participation in all aspects of care. The Occupational Therapist I will engage in various interprofessional activities, supporting both quality improvement initiatives and mentorship of students.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
• Conduct triage and screening for different needs




• Collaborate with clients and families in care decisions
• Mentor and supervise Therapy Assistants as needed
• Engage in multi-disciplinary quality improvement activities

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Completion of a criminal record check
• Ability to drive and have personal transportation
