Join us as an Adult Substance Use Counselor in Huron and Perth Counties, providing essential support to individuals facing addiction issues. Deliver assessment, treatment planning, and community counseling to improve client well-being.

You will work independently, conducting assessments and crisis management for clients experiencing responsible mental illness and addiction. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with community partners to mobilize resources and ensure effective treatment plans through Measurement Based Care. Service delivery will encompass in-person, phone, and virtual formats.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer crisis management and advocacy for clients
• Independently conduct addiction and mental health assessments




• Develop tailored treatment strategies collaboratively
• Maintain detailed clinical records and documentation
• Participate in community awareness initiatives

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or similar
• Experience in counseling and addressing addiction issues
• Knowledge of relevant mental health legislation
• Current registration from an authorized college
• Proven ability to handle crises and make decisions
