The College of Nurses is seeking two Intake Assessors, one permanent and one temporary. In this role, you will evaluate applicant information, identifying risks and preparing critical reports for decision-makers. Your experience in investigations and risk management will be essential to ensure compliance with the Nursing Act and related regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess applicant information for registration suitability
• Prepare reports for the Registrar and Registration Committee
• Analyze data and develop regulatory responses
• Draft decisions and agreements based on findings
• Identify areas for process improvement
Requirements:
• University degree in a health field (BScN, MSW, etc.)
• 3-5 years of experience in regulation or investigations
• Solid analytical and communication skills
• Attention to detail in applicant assessments
• Knowledge of health profession regulations
