This full time term position at the Energy, Mines and Resources (EMR) department involves coordinating zoning initiatives and regional land use planning until March 31, 2028. You'll facilitate public consultations and work closely with municipal entities to ensure comprehensive land management. Your role is integral to establishing effective land use policies throughout the territory.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead regional and community land use planning efforts
• Engage with First Nations and local communities for project input
• Conduct policy research and analyze planning issues




• Present land use options to senior management
• Develop and maintain land use legislation and policies

Requirements:
• Degree in relevant fields such as geography or environmental planning
• Proven project management experience in land planning
• Strong skills in community consultation and negotiation
• Familiarity with Canadian zoning and planning laws
• Capacity to prepare high-level briefings and reports
