Luxury Operations & Service Excellence
Lead the daily Fairmont Gold operation, ensuring luxury standards, personalized service, and operational excellence are consistently delivered.
Own the overall Fairmont Gold experience, with uncompromising attention to product, presentation, ambiance, and service detail.
Lead by example, setting high standards of professionalism, discretion, hospitality, and guest service.
Direct daily operational priorities and accountability while ensuring seamless Lounge and F&B; execution with In Room Dining and Food & Beverage.
Ensure the team demonstrates exceptional destination and hotel knowledge to deliver confident, personalized recommendations.
Own the Fairmont Gold guest journey from pre-arrival through departure, anticipating preferences, VIP requirements,
and special occasions.
Review reservations and guest profiles daily to ensure personalized details and requests are flawlessly executed.
Champion innovative experiences that surprise and delight guests while reinforcing the exclusivity of Fairmont Gold.
Take full ownership of guest concerns, ensuring discreet recovery, timely resolution, follow-up, and documentation.
Leverage guest and Colleague feedback and performance insights to continuously improve Forbes, TrustYou, EES, and LQA results.
Guest Experience & Personalization
Ensure Fairmont Gold rooms, Lounge, reception, guest floors, and supporting areas consistently meet or exceed Fairmont, FHR, Forbes, and LQA standards.
Build solid partnerships with Front Office, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and key departments to deliver a seamless Fairmont Gold experience, protecting its exclusivity and integrity.
Establish clear cross-functional expectations and accountability for Fairmont Gold service, product, and operational requirements.
Act as the property-wide ambassador for Fairmont Gold, strengthening its positioning, standards, and service expectations across the hotel.
Maintain strategic relationships with Fairmont Gold counterparts, luxury hotels, and hospitality partners to share best practices and elevate the operation.
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing Fairmont Gold team with a clear focus on luxury service excellence, ownership, and operational discipline.
Recruit, onboard, train, coach, recognize, and develop Colleagues, building a culture of accountability, engagement, confidence, and continuous improvement.
Ensure every Colleague has the knowledge, tools, resources, and coaching required to deliver exceptional service and confidently represent the Fairmont Gold brand.
Establish transparent performance expectations and actively manage service standards, productivity, colleague performance, and development opportunities.
Build strong relationships across the hotel and influence supporting teams to create one seamless, highly coordinated Fairmont Gold guest experience.
You may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts. Submission of your application to Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise indicates that you are able to meet these requirements as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of previous Hotel/Resort Rooms Division leadership or management required
Familiarity with Forbes auditing processes and standards
Proven record of exceeding guest expectations
Leadership skills including team management and supervision
Written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks/projects
Operational knowledge of Property Manager systems (asset)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (asset)
Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management (asset)
Visa Requirements
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
