As a Communicable Disease Public Health Nurse at Fraser Health, you will assess and manage communicable diseases for various populations. Expect to utilize your skills in follow-up, prevention, and immunization strategies, while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate communicable diseases and manage outbreaks
• Provide health services related to vaccine preventable diseases
• Collaborate and share health information with stakeholders
• Promote healthy behaviors and responsible health practices
• Mentor new health professionals and nursing students
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BCCNM certification
• One year of public health nursing experience
• Valid BC driver's license for work purposes
• Skills in health promotion and community development
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders
