Join Vancouver Coastal Health as an Emergency Physician at Squamish General Hospital. This full time position offers varied shifts, working within a dedicated healthcare team to provide critical emergency services.

As a key member of the Squamish Emergency Department, you will cater to an annual volume of approximately 20,000 patient visits. Delivering urgent medical care, you will also address needs in the acute inpatient unit and collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals. This position highlights not only your clinical skills but also your dedication to communally-focused healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver urgent care in a busy 13-bed Emergency Department
• Coordinate with team members during patient care
• Manage diversified shift patterns across weekends and nights




• Support inpatient and long-term care cross-coverage
• Commit to skill enhancement and teamwork

Requirements:
• Licensure eligibility for the College of Physicians of BC
• CCFP certification required; emergency specialization preferred
• Mandatory ACLS certification; ATLS is a plus
• Residency in Squamish is advantageous for emergencies
• Experience exceeding five years in rural emergency settings valued
