As an Electrical Designer within Qualus's T&D; business, you will report to the Engineering Manager - Substations. This senior position requires 5-12 years of relevant experience, overseeing various electrical design tasks including AC & DC calculations, security and access control, and fire detection systems. Your expertise will contribute to successful project execution and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute electrical designs for 12 kV to 500 kV substations
• Develop load and cable sizing calculations




• Prepare wiring diagrams and fire protection specifications
• Review documentation with clients and contractors
• Respond to construction inquiries and produce as-builts

Requirements:
• Electrical Engineering Technology Degree with C.E.T designation
• 5-12 years of electrical design experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation
• Knowledge of CSA, NESC, and IEEE standards
• Excellent communication skills
