Full Job Description

The Hope House Resident Manager is an opportunity for a compassionate, mature, and faith-driven individual to walk alongside women who are working toward freedom from addiction and other life-controlling challenges. Hope House is a Christian, faith-based residential recovery program, located in a peaceful hobby-farm setting where residents build healthy routines through recovery education, supportive relationships, shared responsibilities, caring for animals, gardening, creative work, and community living.

While professional experience in addiction recovery or related support work is valued, we also welcome applicants with relevant lived experience who can bring wisdom, empathy, healthy boundaries, and a strong understanding of the recovery journey to this role. The program offers a calm, rural environment where women can step away from chaos, rebuild healthy rhythms, and pursue recovery through structure, responsibility, and supportive relationships.

The program incorporates hands-on daily routines such as caring for animals, gardening, shared household responsibilities, and creative work projects. Residents participate in practical activities through the on-site chandlery (including soap and candle-making), meal preparation, cleaning, and maintenance of the farm property as part of a recovery-focussed approach that emphasizes responsibility, consistency, contribution, and community living.

Experience facilitating group education and individual support sessions
Strong organizational and documentation skills
