Windsor Salt seeks a dedicated Safety Coordinator to enhance health and safety standards at the Pugwash Mine. Drive compliance with regulatory requirements and foster a culture of safety across the workplace.

In this full-time, on-site position, you will develop health, safety, and environmental policies while mentoring employees on safe work practices. Your role also involves evaluating risks and implementing control measures, ensuring all training programs are effectively executed. As part of Windsor Salt's mission, you'll directly contribute to maintaining a secure environment for employees and the community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and improve safety and environmental training
• Conduct audits and compliance inspections regularly




• Monitor safety performance indicators for the site
• Facilitate investigations of workplace incidents
• Support sustainability projects within the facility

Requirements:
• Previous experience with safety regulations and compliance
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety is an asset
• Effective communication skills and teamwork能力
• Ability to manage multiple priorities creatively
• Flexibility to meet operational needs outside normal hours
