As a Physiotherapist in the Community and School Therapy Team, you'll provide essential services across schools and homes in Halifax. Your expertise will facilitate effective care for children and youth while collaborating with families and educational staff. This position offers a mix of direct treatment, consultative services, and program planning to support developmental outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and intervene for children with developmental concerns
• Collaborate with families and educational professionals
• Supervise Rehabilitation Assistants where necessary
• Ensure documentation meets established guidelines
• Participate in program evaluations and planning efforts
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Physiotherapy program
• Licensed or eligible for licensing in Nova Scotia
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience
• Knowledge of best practices in child therapy
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
