The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a proactive approach to prospecting and a passion for closing deals. The Territory Sales Representative will cover the Golden Horseshoe and Southwestern Ontario markets, reporting directly to the Residential Sales Manager and serving as the main point of contact throughout the sales process, engaging with the Project Team and Installation Teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.

This is a remote role.
Salary Range
$60,000 - $80,000
Bonus
This position is eligible to receive an incentive award targeting 5% of the base salary.
Responsibilities
Conduct on‑site assessments of waste‑management areas (garbage rooms, chute systems, compactor rooms).
Take accurate measurements and evaluate layouts to determine appropriate equipment and service solutions.
Identify installation or service constraints by physically inspecting customer sites.
Translate on‑site findings into accurate quotes, proposals, and system recommendations.
Proactively hunt for new opportunities and engage with Developers and Property Managers in the mid‑rise and high‑rise residential real‑estate space.
Sell Metro Compactor Service’s Preventive Maintenance packages and seek renewals on expiring agreements.
Seek opportunities to sell Power Washing contracts for chutes and garbage bins for existing buildings and for new construction projects.
Utilize a Consultative Sales Approach with customers and manage the sales cycle as the main point of contact with your customers.
Work cross‑functionally to execute Metro Compactor Service’s strategy of being the leader in waste‑management systems and solutions.
Network with your industry and professional contacts to generate leads and increase revenue growth.
Work closely with the Operations and Project Teams to ensure accurate information and deadlines are met for tenders, bid requests, quotes, and proposals.
Stay informed on customer needs, corporate priorities, and the competitive landscape.
Report regularly on sales activities to the Residential Sales Manager to ensure goals and objectives are being achieved.
Utilize CRM to ensure all documentation is current and the key next steps in the sales process are identified.
Qualifications
Possesses a “Hunter” mindset and eagerness to source new business opportunities.
Can collaborate with others, including individuals and teams.

Organized, efficient, and able to provide relevant information to customers and team members in a timely manner.
Capable of handling multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.

Demonstrates a high level of accountability personally and throughout the career.
3+ years of sales experience,
preferably in construction or manufacturing; personality and fit are also essential.
Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings.
Pleasant demeanor with customers and team members.
Ability to learn various CRM software programs.
