Located at the King Street Campus, this position involves collaboration with the Addiction Medicine Consult Team and Hospital Withdrawal Management Services. The Nurse Practitioner will follow the Standards of Practice for Extended Class, ensuring the delivery of quality care through well-developed treatment pathways and care plans. Essential skills include ethical prescribing and robust communication.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate as an integral member of the health care team
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans




• Facilitate withdrawal management protocol implementation
• Utilize therapeutic communication techniques effectively
• Manage a diverse workload with changing priorities

Requirements:
• Valid RN (EC) registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Basic Life Support certification within the last year
• Relevant clinical experience in addictions or mental health
• Competence in safe, ethical prescribing practices
• Advanced bilingual communication skills required
