Reporting to the Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in the Human Resources team. We seek a motivated individual with a diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related fields, showcasing experience in a unionized setting. You will effectively engage with various internal and external stakeholders while providing practical health and safety advice.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety inspections and occupational health assessments
• Provide support to managers and health committee members
• Develop database reports for safety metrics tracking




• Communicate findings through statistical reports
• Maintain relationships with internal and external contacts

Requirements:
• Minimum of two years related experience in a unionized workplace
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation Act and safety regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR Information Systems
• Class 5 Driver’s License valid in British Columbia
• CSP or BCRP designation preferred
