As part of the Tertiary Mental Health Regional Support team, you will be instrumental in coordinating referral systems for various client demographics. This includes providing essential services related to mental health and substance use, ensuring effective admissions, and reviewing policies. Your knowledge will directly impact diverse populations, especially LGBT2S youth and adults in need of support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate access for Tertiary Mental Health services
• Review and monitor referrals from medical sites
• Facilitate timely admissions to appropriate bed resources
• Liaise with service providers and healthcare teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Current registration with BCCSW
• Valid BC Driver’s License
• Knowledge of LGBTQ2S barriers to healthcare
