Fraser Health is seeking a Casual Clinician for the Short Term Assessment and Response Team in Abbotsford, B.C. Focus on crisis intervention and counseling for adolescents and their families.

As a clinician, you will play a pivotal role in addressing the acute needs of adolescents in crisis. This includes conducting assessments, offering therapeutic counseling, and facilitating coordination with community resources. You will also engage in program development and ongoing education, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care provided in this dynamic health environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of social and emotional needs
• Provide short-term therapy utilizing various models
• Liaise with community resources for effective service delivery




• Participate in educational training for staff and clients
• Document assessments and develop treatment strategies

Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in relevant health sciences program
• Minimum of two years' experience in mental health settings
• Registration eligibility with a professional body in BC
• BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle
• Strong abilities in crisis intervention and problem solving
