In this role, you will partner with engineers and tradespeople while interpreting regulatory codes and ensuring quality in welding practices. Your expertise in preparing work orders and monitoring welding parameters will be vital to the success of infrastructure projects. You'll also get involved in conducting welder performances and maintaining a clean, compliant workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineers on oil and gas construction
• Monitor and interpret welding parameters and codes
• Write procedure qualification records and specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment
• Support clients with welding process implementation
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Welding Engineering required
• ABSA Welding Examiner Certificate of Competency needed
• CSA W178.2 Level 2 Inspector Certificate required
• Must be eligible for T.T., C.E.T., or E.I.T. status
• Passion for quality improvement and safety compliance
