Become a pivotal influence in students' lives as a High School Special Education Instructor. This regular full time role begins on August 31, 2026, focusing on differentiated educational approaches and cultural integration.You will be integral to the Community School, teaching courses that address diverse learning styles. Working under the School Admin Team, you’ll apply solid classroom management skills and customized instructional strategies to foster student engagement. Additionally, your ability to weave local First Nations culture into your curriculum will enrich the educational experience.Key Responsibilities:
Teach diverse curriculum following B.C. guidelines
Manage classroom dynamics effectively
Accommodate various student learning needs
Craft engaging, strength-based lesson plans
Utilize technology for effective learningRequirements:
Must possess a BC Teacher certificate
Complete Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector
Understanding of B.C. curriculum standards
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
