Bantrel is searching for a Senior Planner to lead commissioning activities at the Jansen Potash Mine in Leroy, Saskatchewan. This pivotal role ensures seamless integration and execution of commissioning schedules.
This position plays a critical role in the Mining team with responsibilities that include developing and controlling commissioning schedules for large capital projects. The Senior Planner will support the site-based commissioning teams, providing expert guidance throughout all phases of execution. Strong oversight of commissioning activities in relation to construction is essential for achieving safe and efficient field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead commissioning schedule development and integration tasks
• Analyze and maintain commissioning milestones for project execution
• Review construction activities to ensure productive scheduling
• Coordinate acquisitions of critical scope and field data
• Interface with project stakeholders on schedule matters
Requirements:
• 12+ years in commissioning planning for large EPC projects
• Experience in camp-based environments
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities
• Proficiency in scheduling tools like Primavera P6
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
